Some ask themselves this question daily, others not so often. What does being more attractive mean to you? Being out there more? Being more Social? Or as Casey Chambers would say “I’m not pretty enough” and carry on as usual.
So What Does This Mean For Your Business?
If you run a small business you should ask yourself the same question. Is my business attractive enough? Am I attracting the right clients? Am I being social enough?
Social Media nowadays is a typical form of advertising and can assist in making your business even more attractive than what it already is. Online Social media platforms are a great way to communicate with your current and new/prospective clients. What a fantastic way for people to get to know you, your products and/or services, then most of all build a relationship and like your page!! Take Facebook it has over 1 billion users to date and growing, couldn’t get a better place to start exposing your business, products and services.
There are many forms of social media platforms to choose from and it can be very overwhelming knowing which one will work best for you and your business. There is Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+, Linkedin, You Tube and the list goes on.
I recommend starting off on one platform, like Facebook, and setting up your business page and use it as a means to start connecting with your ideal and current clients. Prior to setting up your business page, have a strategy or plan in place of the outcome you would like to achieve. Ask yourself, what you want to use the social media platform for: is it to keep your clients informed of your products or services, or it could be you want to generate more sale leads or even another means to get the clients to sign up for your newsletter or sales offers. Think about what you are trying to gain from this social media platform.
